TOKEN Shark Tail skewers are a great way to upgrade an often-overlooked part of your bike. They come in four colours that either blend in nicely or stand out and get noticed.
So why did these little beauties win design awards? Well, the Shark Tail has a small lip on the edge of the lever. This lip gives your fingers a place to hook onto when loosening the lever to remove your wheel. When reinstalling the wheel, you can use the hook to spin the skewer round and tighten faster. When closing the lever, the flat shape makes it easier to get leverage and close the skewer tightly with less pressure on your hand. Pretty cool we thought.
One of the less obvious features is the option to upgrade to a titanium Y-Cut axle. We milled out all the unwanted material to make it lighter, but the Y shape doesn’t compromise on strength. All these features make the Shark Tail perfect for both road and mountain bike applications.

We start with our Fusion technology; it is a combination of plastic and fibre that cover an alloy bottom bracket shell. The composite material allows it to be precisely machined and fit snugly in the frame so it doesn’t move in the frame and sound like grandma’s clicking and creaking arthritic knees. But plastic and fibre don’t do a good job of supporting bearings; poorly supported bearings can wear prematurely.
We house the bearings in an alloy shell and wrap it with plastic and fibre. This fusion of the three materials provides the bearings a solid platform to sit on and extends their lives. A lot of people would be satisfied with this, but we went even further by extending the alloy shell so the right and left sides lock together. This locks the frame, cranks and bottom bracket together and provides unparalleled stiffness.
The NINJA bottom bracket is can be purchased individually or in a package that includes adapters to fit several different frame and crankset combinations.
The NINJA bottom bracket doesn’t just solve the problem of noisy bottom brackets – it actually improves the life of the bottom bracket and makes your bike stiffer. There aren’t many times a replacement part actually improves your bike but put one on your bike and you’ll wonder why you didn’t install a NINJA sooner.

Token Rim Tape
Protect your tubes from punctures caused by spokes when you use TOKEN rim tape. This tape can be used with 700c road rims or 29″ mountain bike rims. It can handle pressures up to 235 psi but at that point you may as well just take the tyres off the rims because it’s going to feel about the same as riding on rims.
